Open Family access

Family access starts from your personal space. Open Family access and choose Invite partner. Before generating the link, choose how your partner will be named in your space. finerd uses this name for your partner’s family member account when shared money moves to or from their private side.

Send the invite

  1. Share the invitation link or QR code with your partner.
  2. Your partner opens the link and accepts the invitation.
  3. If your partner does not have finerd yet, they sign up and finish onboarding first.
  4. After your partner completes registration, their name appears in your space.
Partner access is free Adding your partner to family accounting does not add another paid seat.

Manage the invite

Invitation links are active for 3 days by default. You can revoke an active link and generate a new one if needed. If your partner is already in another family, they will need to leave the current family before joining yours.
