# Forward bills to finerd

> Don't want to connect your whole inbox? Get a personal finerd address and forward only the receipts you choose.

> *"What if I don't want finerd reading my whole inbox?"*

You don't have to. Instead of connecting your email, finerd gives you a **personal forwarding address**. You decide which receipts go in — forward an email to that address and finerd records it as a bill.

## Get your forwarding address

1. Open **Email forwarding**.
2. finerd shows you a personal address that belongs to you alone.
3. Anything you forward there is recorded in finerd as a bill.

## Forward a receipt

When a receipt arrives in your inbox, forward it to your finerd address. finerd reads the email, pulls out the merchant, date, total, and items, and links the bill to the matching transaction — exactly as it would for a scanned receipt.
