## Common issues

* **"Authentication failed" or tools missing** — your session may have expired. The connector token expires after 30 days; reconnect and sign in again.
* **Sign-in window doesn't open** — allow pop-ups for your AI client, then run the connect or authenticate step again.
* **Wrong space** — tell the assistant which space to use, for example "use my family space". See [AI with a shared or family space](/ai/family-space).
* **Write actions are blocked** — you connected with read-only access. Reconnect and choose **Read & Write**.
