# Connect Finerd to Gemini

> Use Finerd from the Gemini CLI.

> Finerd works as a remote MCP server in the Gemini CLI. The server URL is `https://api.finerd.ai/mcp`.

## Before you start

* The [Gemini CLI](https://github.com/google-gemini/gemini-cli) installed.

## Connect

1. Add the server: `gemini mcp add --transport http finerd https://api.finerd.ai/mcp`
2. Start the Gemini CLI and run `/mcp auth finerd` — your browser opens for sign-in.
3. Sign in with your Finerd account.
4. Choose your access level — **Read-only** or **Read & Write**.
5. Run `/mcp` to confirm **finerd** is connected and its tools are loaded.
